Survey and develop culinary tourism products in Lang Son

 During 2 days (25 and 26/11), the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion organized a survey team to build the product “Food tour” (culinary tourism) Lang Son. The delegation included nearly 150 delegates who are experts in the tourism sector, representatives of travel agencies inside and outside the province, representatives of press agencies inside and outside the province, and content creators (KOLs), famous TikTokers.

During the program, the delegation visited some typical culinary addresses in Lang Son city such as: Giang Ha vermicelli with grilled pork shop (No. 10 Xu Nhu, Chi Lang ward); Lang Sinh vermicelli with grilled pork (No. 5, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Chi Lang ward); Xuan Suu porridge (No. 8, Than Thua Quy street, Vinh Trai ward); Hong Xiem roasted duck (No. 1A/95, Nguyen Du, Dong Kinh ward); Ms. Hoa’s egg rolls (No. 25, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Vinh Trai ward); night market area (Hoang Van Thu ward) …

The survey team visited and experienced the process of slicing pho noodles at Vi Tang duck pho restaurant (No. 62 Dai Hue, Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city)

At each destination, the member of The group enjoyed the cuisine and experienced the processes of roasting duck, roasting pig, slicing pho noodles, making rice rolls, making chao cakes… listening to the locals share stories about the specialty dishes.

Members of the survey team recorded and took photos of the rice paper making process at Ms. Hoa’s egg rice paper shop (No. 25, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city).

In particular, during the survey trip, unique images of culinary tourism products in Lang Son city were recorded by KOLs; TikTokers to promote and widely share on social networking platforms.

The survey team visited and experienced the cake making process at Xuan Suu ap chao shop (No. 8 Than Thua Quy street, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city)

In addition, the delegation members also exchanged, discussed, analyzed and evaluated the strengths of culinary tourism products in the area and gave directions for linking culinary tours and routes in the coming time.

The survey delegation visited and listened to an introduction to the specialty product Roasted Pork at Thanh Nhai Roasted Pork processing facility, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city.

The tourism survey aims to build and develop “Lang Son culinary tour” with the long-term goal of developing the Foodtour trend (culinary tourism) into a typical type of tourism in Lang Son. It is known that the program to announce Lang Son culinary tourism products will take place at the beginning of the month December 2024.
