Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library’s annual holiday tour is a popular seasonal tradition in New Castle County.

What is Winterthur Yuletide?
Winterthur dives into the holiday spirit with its luxurious Yuletide display that includes stunning outdoor lights and a self-paced tour with an environment that feels plucked from a storybook where history and literature join forces with dazzling holiday vibes.
Guests will experience “artful displays inspired by classic tales [that] uniquely connect to Winterthur with rarely seen collection objects and tributes to the estate’s rich history,” according to Winterthur.
Yuletide runs through Jan. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last tour is at 3:15 p.m.).
“New Holiday Nights” offers extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays (excluding Dec. 26) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (last tour is at 7:15 p.m.).
On Dec. 24, tour hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (last tour is at 1:15 p.m.). On Jan. 1, tour hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last tour is at 4:15 p.m.).
